More than a thousand SANY devices! 500 billion dollar project!

In northwestern Saudi Arabia, more than 1,600 SANY devices are wielding iron arms and blazing construction, pushing full speed ahead with the rise of a giant city of the future.

In October 2017, Saudi Arabia announced it would invest more than $500 billion to build an unprecedented "city of the future" called NEOM in the country's northwest.

NEOM is a combination of the Greek word for "new" and the Arabic word for "future," meaning "new future." At the core of "Saudi Vision 2030, NEOM is a futuristic city full of technology, covering 26,500 square kilometres, including The Line, Sindalah, Trojena, Oxagon, etc., spanning mountains, deserts and oceans, focusing on nine major industries such as energy and water, biotechnology, food, and clean manufacturing and would rely totally on renewable energy for energy supply. This project is huge and the concept is avant-garde, attracting global attention.

NEOM's first luxury island resort

Since the second half of 2021, more than 1,600 units of SANY equipment have been deployed at the NEOM New City construction site, including various types of construction machinery such as cranes, excavators, loaders, dump trucks and concrete pump trucks.

The simultaneous operation of such a large number of equipments is also a challenge for services. To this end, SANY set up a on-site service team of more than 50 engineers to respond quickly to ensure the construction progress.

With the continuous progress of this project, the efficient performance of SANY's 

equipment has won unanimous recognition from customers, and the intent orders continue to pour in. It is expected that the number of SANY's equipment on site will continue to increase, contributing more SANY power to NEOM New City.
