"I have calculated that the equipment provided by SANY at the peak of the construction of the Jakarto-Bandung high-speed railway, including more than 150 excavators, 60 rotary digging drills, 50 cranes, 150 mixer trucks, 20 sets of mixing stations and 30 pump trucks, etc,. These powerful Chinese equipment are responsible for earthmoving and tunneling operations, concrete transport and pumping, pile filling and lifting construction along the whoile line." Cui Zuo said.
The strength of Chinese manufacturing on the world stage is not only reflected in the quantity, but also in the quality. Many of the difficulties in the construction process of the high-speed rail are overcome by these equipment of Sany Heavy Industry.
For example, the rock hardness of the No. 11 tunnel of the Jakarta-Bandar high-speed railway is as high as 120 mpa, which cannot be handled by conventional equipment. The construction team specially purchased Sany STR318H boring machine, weighing 115 tons. It is also very reliable when working for not only can it run more than 20 hours a day, but the average daily drilling depth can be more than 5.5 meters even in the case of high rock hardnessza. After the equipment is in place, the tunnel construction problems are therefore solved.
At present, Cui Zuo is participating in another important task - the construction of Sany Indonesia "lighthouse factory".
It is understood that the "lighthouse factory" is 70 kilometers away from Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, with a total area of 100,000 square meters. It is SANY's first overseas "lighthouse factory" designed and constructed according to Industry 4.0 standards, fully integrating the successful experience of SANY's more than 40 domestic lighthouse factories, and the concept of intelligent, flexible and green production of Industry 4.0 is runed through in the manufacturing process. Among them, the first phase will have an annual output of 3,000 excavators, and the second phase will gradually introduce wide-body vehicle production.
"Indonesia, as one of the largest economies in Southeast Asia, is in a stage of rapid development in fields such as mining and transportation infrastructure. At the same time, Indonesia's industrial base is weak, and most machinery equipment is imports-dependent. At this time, we copy the most advanced domestic smart factories to Indonesia, which is conducive to the further development of Chinese equipment to the world, and localization will also bring a lot of technology, experience, taxes and jobs to Indonesia. From trade to investment, people can be better integrated." Cui Zuo said he was thinking of organizing Indonesian employees to visit China after the lighthouse factory was completed.
In front of the No. 18 intelligent factory of Sany Industrial Park in Changsha, Hunan Province, a huge plaque reading "SANY must become a leading enterprise of the 'Belt and Road" is eye-catching. In Cui Zuo's plan, this is a place where Indonesian employees must be asked to "clock in." His has the same hope as many others: work together in the "Belt and Road" to make the win-win cake bigger and sweeter.
